Interesting thoughts… (only watched a little bit of the video, will watch the rest tomorrow)Although I would like to say that God created reason and what after all is human dignity? Religion is a farse, but faith saves lives. Everyone has to have faith in what they believe to fill in the gaps. I would encourage you to hit up my site and let me know what you think.
hm i have no idea what you mean by ‘god’ – how do you define that? ..i am nullifidian (without faith) ..and you seem to be solefidian (trust faith) ..religion is any kind of god belief ..and faith to me is what you believe without evidence or contrary to it ..i use words like maybe and i am aware that uncertain factors mean i dont know something ..i certainly dont know everything there is to discover and i wouldnt pretend to be able to ‘explain’ it either ..i prefer being honest and rational at the same time over faith ..i leave all that to god believers like you ..but i hope you realize that faith doesnt work? ..how dedicated are you ..would you want people thinking they can fly by flapping their hands to test that theory out by jumping off tall buildings? or would you be more carefull in the study of that claim? ..how about faith in car brakes? ..is THAT what makes them work? do we even have to put in the brakes if we can just fill in the gaps with faith instead?
